This Privacy Policy identifies and describes the way GEOS Response uses and protects the information we collect about Customers and Users. All use of GEOS Safety and Response products and services, as well as visits to our websites, are subject to this Privacy Policy.
The Information We Collect, How We Collect It, And How We Use It
We may collect different types of personal and other information based on your use of our products and services and our business relationship with you. Some examples include:
- Contact Information that allows us to communicate with you -- including your name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address;
- Emergency Contact Information for your emergency contact in the event of an emergency such as nearest relative etc;
- Billing information for the organization or school related to your financial relationship with us -- including your payment data, credit history, credit card numbers, school identity numbers, security codes, and service history;
- Equipment, Performance, and other Technical Information about your use of our network, services, products or websites.
- You give it to us when you purchase, register users, or otherwise interact with us about a product or service we offer or provide;
- We collect it automatically when you visit our websites or use our products and services:
- We may employ cookies to help us recognize your browser as a previous visitor and save and remember any preferences that may have been set while your browser was visiting the Site. For example, we may save your login information so you don't have to sign in every time you visit the site;
- Provide you with the best customer experience possible;
- Provide the services you purchase;
- Communicate with you regarding the service you purchased;
- Address network integrity and security issues;
- Provide local directory and directory assistance;
- When you access the School Safety Response web site.
- We may monitor, collect and use your wireless location information, as well as other information obtained from our network and your device, to provide you with wireless voice and data communications, and to network you into to a secure voice bridge during a security threat;
- Sharing
- We require those non-GEOS companies to protect any Personal Information they may receive in a manner consistent with this policy.
- We do not provide Personal Information to non-GEOS companies for the marketing of their own products and services without your consent.
- Responding to 911 calls and other emergencies;
- First Response Agencies
- Medical Facilities
- Rescue Coordination Centers
- Complying with court orders and other legal process;
- To assist with identity and location verification
- We collect some information on an anonymous basis. We also may anonymize the personal information we collect about you.
- We obtain aggregate data by combining anonymous data that meet certain criteria into groups.
- We may share aggregate or anonymous information in various formats with trusted non-School Safety entities, and may work with those entities to do research and provide products and services.
- Our websites products and services are not designed to attract children under the age of 13 or obtain any kind of personal information on them.
- We do not knowingly collect personally identifying information from anyone under the age of 13 unless we first obtain permission from that child's parent or legal guardian.
- In the event that a child under the age of 13 is involved in an incident that requires the service of School Safety response, the guardian is deemed to be the School.
- We do not sell your Personal Information to anyone for any purpose.
- We maintain information about you in our business records while you are a customer, or until it is no longer needed for business, tax, or legal purposes.
- We have implemented encryption or other appropriate security controls to protect Personal Information when stored or transmitted by School Safety.
- We require non-GEOS companies acting on our behalf to protect any Personal Information they may receive in a manner consistent with this Policy. We do not allow them to use such information for any other purpose.
- We like to receive feedback from our customers to help us improve our service. We may contact you by e-mail or telephone to ask you opinion.
- We may also send periodic emails related to company news, new products or other information. Should you wish to no longer receive these you can opt-out by selecting unsubscribe at any time.
- In using our services, you consent to the collection and legal use of this information by us in the ways described above.

- To request access to or rectification, portability or erasure of your personal data, or to delete your GEOS account, visit your GEOS profile to view or edit your personal information. Should you wish to delete your data and cease being a GEOS customer, please send an email to euprivacy@geossafetysolutions.com.
